Puppies are growing fast.  Eyes are open, and they are now eating puppy mush.  They wag their fat otter tails when they hear us coming.  The fat brown bears have turned into real labrador puppies.

Brown Bear Brown Bear, what do you see?

The puppies are starting to see and hear the world around them.  I love this stage, as they will hear our voices and their tails start to wag...a true labrador trait!

New Year Babies

I had plans on New Years Eve with friends...Frenchie had other plans!  She decided to have her puppies early.  So....into the world came 6 beautiful chocolate treasures- four girls and 2 boys.  Frenchie is a wonderful mom and a great "milker".  These puppies are fat!  Now comes the fun part as their eyes are starting to open and see the world around them!  

The Great Outdoors

Finally, the sun came out long enough for the puppies to enjoy their first day out.  What an adventure!  So many things to see, smell, taste, and touch!  These little chunky pups had a fun fun day!  

Play Time in the Box

The puppies are playing and have started eating.  There favorite thing is to escape the puppy box, and roam the kitchen.  Frenchie is still taking great care of them…she's a sweet mama dog.  

They are now 4 weeks old.
